Our fast-food, drive-thru culture has lost the idea of slowing down,
gathering together and experiencing the presence of God. This reality leaves us asking:
How do we at Hillside seek to build genuine community?
We, that is the board and pastoral staff, believe that genuine community can be formed and fostered around a table. When we use the term table fellowship then, we’re not simply talking about having pot-luck meals together. Rather, we are talking about a practice that is intentional, meaningful and can be impactful both personally and for the Kingdom when executed well. Table fellowship intentionally creates space to know one another, serve and receive from one another, and invite God into the spaces in between.
